We believe that our clients will want a
vigorous collection effort from us using an ethical, legal,
and reasonable manner. Our philosophy, therefore, will be to
couple the highest degree of communication skills with a
firm demand for action on a debtor’s part. We believe that
by utilizing a win-win approach using a positive and
constructive tone we can convince the majority of debtors
that we’re willing and able to assist them in finding a
solution to their delinquency.
History Of Our Company
Credit Bureau Services of Iowa, Inc. is located in
Oskaloosa, Iowa, and has been in business for over fifty
years. It was purchased February 1, 1982 by Leonard Grimes.
Mr. Grimes was manager of a finance company for eight years
prior to the purchase of the Credit Bureau.
Mr. Grimes is an active participant in the following
organizations and holds the following positions in the state
units of these associations:
CBSI has been involved in the collection of delinquent
accounts since its inception. Our clients include hospitals,
solo medical practitioners, medical clinics, lab/pathology
clinics, dentists, optometrists, chiropractors, ambulance,
governmental, utilities, florists, retail and financial
institutions.
CBSI is a member of the following trade associations:
CBSI utilizes state of the art software and predictive
dialer system provided by Columbia Ultimate Business
Systems; the leading software provider for the collection
industry.
We also offer web based client access for our clients. Our
clients can list new accounts, report payments, pull
standard or customized reports, plus much more by logging on
to our secure website.
Experience
Our collection staff averages over 12 years of employment
with the company. A productive work environment has kept our
turnover to a minimum. This translates to higher collection
success than the industry average.
Credit Reporting
CBSI offers Equifax credit
reporting on a nationwide basis via internet access.
